Kasbah d’If

A desert stay with weight and warmth

The appeal of Kasbah d’If lies in the relationship between shelter and open space. Set in Agafay’s stony landscape, its earthy architecture gives the eye somewhere to rest before it travels out towards the horizon.

Inside, the material palette brings that sense of grounding closer: Atlas marble, hand-knotted rugs and natural surfaces. The British Berbere Bar introduces leather and wood, giving the desert setting a more intimate evening register. A stone hammam continues the emphasis on texture, enclosure and quiet.

We are drawn to the way these elements work together. The landscape supplies the scale; the rooms and shared spaces supply the human detail. It is a useful reminder that a memorable desert hotel needs both—the view that takes you outside yourself and a room that makes you want to stay.
